Another beautiful baby girl born at home this morning! Saying that *S* and *T* were ecstatic to meet their daughter would be an understatement ~ I think the pictures speak for themselves....

Baby Eliette was born at home two days before Christmas weighing in at a hefty 9 pounds! Her mom ~ blessed with wonderful support from her doula, Lesley, and midwife, Kathleen ~ is so proud of herself for going after and achieving the birth that she wanted.

Violet was born into her daddy's hands yesterday evening after a surprisingly quick and easy labor (well, for me anyway...but mom made it look pretty easy too!) They had the assistance of their very sweet midwife, Christy Martin, and they also had another very special person present ~ the same midwife that caught Violets mom years ago!

Sixteen years ago today Bonnie Kitchen made her 1st "catch" as a midwife. This morning at 10:36 she caught her first grandchild, Liam. Thank you all so much for inviting me to be there, it was truly an honor.

G & E's little Christmas baby came a little earlier than expected ~ he was born this morning after a very short, but action-packed labor. :-) The interesting thing about his birth is that I was only contacted by his parents early yesterday morning and by the time I called them back to discuss the details (late morning!) E's water had broken! I am thrilled to have been able to meet the three of them, this little boy was truly amazing! He was incredibly alert and very strong ~ he kicked his way up to mama's chest to nurse and kept popping off to hold his head up and gaze into mom and dads eyes. So sweet.

Amanda is just 5 (or so) short weeks away from meeting her precious little Emma and she is *so* excited about it! We had such a great time taking her maternity portraits today, I can hardly wait for the birth and the newborn session!
